    • Walking: Many of Cannes’ main attractions, such as the Croisette, Palais des Festivals, and Old Town (Le Suquet), are just a short 10-15 minute walk from the port.
    • Taxis: Taxis are available at the port and can take you around town or to nearby destinations like Antibes or Juan-les-Pins.
    • Train: Cannes train station is just a 10-minute walk from the port. Trains to nearby cities such as Nice (33 km / 20 miles) and Monaco (55 km / 34 miles) run regularly and are a quick and efficient option.

    For those looking to explore further, Antibes is only 10 km (6 miles) away, about 15 minutes by train or taxi, while the chic town of Saint-Tropez is around 70 km (43 miles) and can be reached by boat or car in about an hour.

    Cannes offers a mix of luxury, history, and coastal charm. Here are the top five attractions to visit during your stop:

    Places near Cannes

    Nice: Nice is easily reachable by railway. Journey time is appor. 30 minutes depending on type of train. We advise you to take the intercity train as it is faster (and usually better trains).

    Villefranche: Villefranche is just a coupls of minutes past Nice and also easily reachable by railway. Journey time is appor. 35 minutes depending on type of train. Check the journey planners for best connections and do beware that the intercity trains do not stop at this station.

    Monte Carlo: Just a little bit further lies Monte Carlo (Monaco). The best way to get here is also by railway and again we advise the intercity. Journey time is 45-60 minutes.

    Mougins and Valbonne: Next to the railstation is the bus station where the busses to Mougins (not in the village center) and Valbonne depart. Bus 630 will take you to Mougins in 20 minutes and Valbonne in about 35 minutes (depending on traffic). Do plan this trip very very carefull as there are only few busses per day. Especially in weekends  the service can be as few as once every two hours. Tickets are 1.50 euro each way.
