Just like her sister ship known as Royal Princess, she was ordered on 17 February 2010 and delivered to Princess Cruises on 11 May 2014 during a spectacular ceremony held at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Monfalcone (Italy). The eye-catcher is the SeaWalk, a glass footbridge extending by more than 8 metres from the ship. </span></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;">Love Boat crew attending the inauguration</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;">On 3 November 2014, Regal Princess had her official naming ceremony in Fort Lauderdale, in the presence of six main stars from the TV classic “The Love Boat” (which took place onboard ms Pacific Princess), including captain Stubing.
