To celebrate the Dutch anniversary of the Italian Mediterranean Shipping Company on May 9, 2015 MSC Orchestra arrived at the Cruise Port Rotterdam.MSC Splendida visited a week earlier. MSC Orchestra stayed the entire weekend, on Saturday celebrating MSC Nederland’s 30</span><sup style="font-family: lucida sans unicode, lucida grande, sans-serif;">th</sup><span style="font-family: lucida sans unicode, lucida grande, sans-serif;"> anniversary.</span><br></p><p><span style="font-family: lucida sans unicode, lucida grande, sans-serif;"></span></p><p><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;">The Mediterranean Shipping Company has cruise ships and more than 400 container ships. It is the second largest container shipping company in the world, after Maersk. Van Ravesteynjoined MSC Nederland back in April 1985, exactly one month after the formation.Today the company provides 300 jobs.
