Carnival Corp has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Italian company to explore the possibility of forming a joint venture to build cruiseships in China. The tie up follows hot on the heels of October’s pact between Carnival and state-run China State Shipbuilding Corp to look at cruiseship building and even cruiseship owning.
